Dorsey from Kansas to Oxford
Dale Dorsey, currently professor and chair of philosophy at the University of Kansas, will be moving to the University of Oxford, where he will be professor of moral philosophy. Professor Dorsey works in moral and political philosophy. He is the author of, among other things, A Theory of Prudence (OUP 2021), The Limits of Moral Authority (OUP 2016), and The Basic Minimum: A Welfarist Approach. You can learn more about his writings here. At Oxford, he will be based at Somerville College, where he will be a tutorial fellow. He will be taking up his new position at Oxford in the summer of 2025.
