The Greek letter phi seems to be a symbol of chakra activation and enlightenment.
The vertical line represents Kundalini Shakti, the serpent that is typically coiled up around the root chakra, however in the phi symbol, the serpent is not coiled up but is extending linearly, vertically, upwards through a chakra.
The loop of the phi symbol may represent either a chakra or it could represent a portion of Ida and Pingala.
There is a clear connection between "phi" and chakra activation.

Furthermore, the Japanese Naka kanji and the Chinese Zhōng hanzi look extremely similar to the Greek Phi. Both mean "center, middle, within" which seems to be very related to meditation and enlightenment topics.
Lastly, Naka is extremely close to Naga. The Nagas are the serpent people. Hinduism derives from Naga teachings. Naga means serpent in Sanskrit. The serpent is a symbol of chakra activation, love, wisdom, enlightenment, and healing.
