It's weird how articles try to blame an "old franchise" and theater attendance for this failure.
On one hand they state they have to play it safe and remake old franchises instead of new ideas and on the other old franchises are unappealing. Weird.
Also multiple films have done well in theaters especially with younger audiences. So.. eh. Clearly there's some gaslighting going on here. Smh.
