He claimed to me that he had an undergraduate degree in nuclear physics... but then he was unable to describe what nuclear fission criticality was (a basic nuclear engineering concept).
This, after he claimed that the expendable Soyuz was superior to the rapidly reusable Falcon 9 booster, and after he claimed that Mars's core got turned inside out into an absurdly thin layer of oxides.
