thanks; but I guess my question is more philosophical - why does a social network opt on allowing - as default - only bite size content?
I feel if anything, this world needs more depth.. like, if Twitter stands for all that is bad with social media, and Mastodon wants to stand for all that is good, having a nauseating character limit is just a weird choice to me!
