LTT posted a video where they mentioned not having an AD and there is a comment thread about people pissing their pants like ERMAHGERD THEY NO USE MICROSOFT ACRIVEDIRECTORY OR AZURE DIRECTORY OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD
and me, who literally sidesteps AD wherever possible because it fucks with everything on my work maschine and only uses it for login and grabbing GPOs... cant get it. Like, oh cool it's SSO ... that costs money. Like, a lot. xD
If I needed an AD, I would just deploy OpenLDAP somewhere and put Keycloak infront of it. Boom, OIDC+LDAP - SSO completed.
