Are you actually uploading it to primal? When you upload media it tells you where it's uploading to. I think the default for amethyst is the website nostr.build
Most relays don't host videos and images. They host just the text of your notes probably because images and videos takes up too much space.

You can run your own relay and allow the hosting of images and videos but it requires Linux cli experience and maintaining the server and updating the relay software. You don't actually need to run a relay to host your own images and videos.

I host my own images on my website using an image hosting software called Chevereto. I bought it and installed it because i like hosting my own media and not depending on hosting websites.

From what I remember nostr.build is free for images and videos and if you want more space they require a yearly fee or something.

You can add their site in the media server settings. There is also other Nostr image hosting websites. They seem to be popping up recently.
