It doesn't matter if shutting down the border is right or wrong. It should either be done or not be done. For someone who "works for us" to say "I'll do it if you do this for me" proves they aren't working 'for the people', they are working for themselves. iNSISTING ON DEALS LIKE THIS IS LITERALLY DEMANDING A BRIBE TO DO YOUR JOB.
How can people be so blind.
