As someone who worked with VR a bit for university ca. 2017 it's been interesting to see the Apple media ecosystem go through a full cycle of VR productivity discourse in less than a year.
Last year: "Meh, seems like a gamer thing"
This spring: "Woah, what if I could use this instead of a laptop"
Once people bought it: "Actually, turns out the resolution and input precision are still waaaay off"
After it was in a drawer for 3 months: "This is useless for anything except actual 3D content"
