Didn’t realize that it’s some sort of new EU law (Digital Market Act) that’s forcing phone manufacturers like Apple to allow alternative app stores options.
Figured Apple wouldn’t do it out of the goodness of their own heart, but this makes me realize it’s actually fairly likely to get implemented. Maybe only enabled in regions like the EU?
