I don't think that's it. I wrote a mod and while I was testing it, I moved around a lot like I did in Minecraft, although maybe not exactly (maybe there's a bit of a slide?)
I think the look of it has something to do with it, maybe. So shaders? Could I plug in a third-party Minecraft shader pack? How would that work; is it legal (if I got whoever's permission to use their shaders?)
