Louisiana just became the first state in the country to require the Ten Commandments to be displayed in public schools and state-funded universities. The American Civil Liberties Union says they plan to sue on the grounds that the law violates First Amendment. Louisiana is the first state to require the Ten Commandments to be displayed in schools since the Supreme Court struck down a similar Kentucky law in 1980.
