There are a few interesting things to note:
(1) Most Chromium browsers (except Opera and Ungoogled Chromium) are following Chrome's lead and upgrading unencrypted DNS to DoH for specific DNS providers (namely, Cloudflare and Google). But otherwise, these browsers are continuing to use unencrypted DNS. Safari takes a similar approach.
