That includes health and education as well as transportation. Private companies only serve the stakeholders; public services should serve (no surprise) the public and shouldn't have profits as the main goal. Sure, public services need to be run efficiently like anything else but forget about profit and just give ordinary people a reasonable, affordable, and dependable service.
