I went on two dates the past two weeks.
About an hour into the first one the gal said “I eat Oreos and nerds clusters every single night.” Which I promptly replied with “oh, you’re addicted to hyper processed foods. That’s a real shame.” Lmao
To that point the date was actually going well, this woman was quite attractive, but I completely lost interest when she talked about her dysfunctional dietary habits.
Second date, lady was based, interesting, attractive and has a flexible well-paying career as a trauma RN. Date was going great, we had good chemistry, she was receptive to libertarian ideas I gently tested the waters with and she even expanded on them.
Later in the date she asked flat out if I wanted kids, which I replied I did. She said under no circumstances will she have children and that it was a deal breaker.
We had an interesting conversation about anti-natalism but she got defensive when I made points about it being a selfish ideology that’s is easy to sell to people who are self-centered and that it doesn’t make any biological sense. But things stayed amicable, we moved past it and spent another couple hours laughing and enjoying each other’s company.
She texted me today saying what a good time she had, that she doesn’t usually have such interesting conversations and wants to see me again.
Overall I continually feel thwarted by clown-world programming most especially in dating.
