Personally, I find Israel's concern for US military recruitment to be very transphobic. The US military has taken many steps to make our transgender soldiers comfortable in their uniform as well as their own skin. And the number of females who have achieved the rank of officer is simply stunning, and a strong statement that sexism and transphobia have no place in the US military. Surely our proud, strong female (whether straight or cis) soldiers will be enough to defend our staunchest ally.
