The case of Tim Walz, and the MAGA attempt to paint him as some kind of weak, communist, peacenik, stolen valor grubbing, deviant extremist is proof that, no matter who we as a party choose as our leaders, the right will always return to the same old accusations.
Tim Walz on paper is everything the GOP and MAGA think of as "normal". Midwest football coach, from a small town, church-going, likes country music, ex-military, schoolteacher, drinks a beer now and then, white, straight, cisgender, married with kids, and as comfortable around a potbelly pig as he is around a hotplate potluck. For goodness sake he tells Dad jokes at every rally. Literally everything their tired little philosophy brands as "good" and "righteous" and "American".
But the Tim Walz in their MINDS is somehow literally Satan. Nothing will reach these people. They are beyond help.
