Crossing Fehmarn Island was easy, except that I would not have minded to stay for a drink in Burg where everyone seemed to be doing just that. Their bicycle infrastructure is remarkable: a particular type of cobblestone that are surprisingly pleasant to cycle on (sorry no pictures).
(In Aix-en-Provence, they hardly have any cycle paths, but those that exist are all used by tourists with suitcases, as they are the only smooth AND car-free surface in town)
