So, the first #Anime I watched as a kid were things such as Sailor Moon, Digimon, Pokemon, and Dragon Ball Z. But at the time, I didn't really know them as anime, just cartoons that were different. I was a stupid kid who didn't take in the fact they were made in Japan.
When I was about 15, and a friend of mine wanted to show me an anime he really enjoyed. That anime was #LoveHina, and I, too, really enjoyed it. So much so that I bought his DVDs off him and even tried writing fan fiction for it. Graciously, that fan fiction is lost to the annals of time...
Eventually, I was in a local bookshop, and I noticed that they started selling Manga. Albeit, it was like barely a shelf, probably about 10 volumes at any given time. But i found Love Hina volumes 5 and 6 there. You better believe I snapped those right up!
It was the first #Manga series I had read and completed. I also have a copy of volume 1 I bought in Denmark because I preferred the cover art!
