Had a lucid dream last night for the first time in a long time. I think I've just made the house I grew up in into a lucid dreaming trigger, because I dream of it a lot. I knew I was dreaming, and consciously wanted to explore every detail of the home I loved.
Exploring, I opened the washing machine and found it had a fake (plastic molded) load of laundry in it. I closed the lid, said "No, I want this to be real." Opened it, and the clothes were real this time. Then I put in detergent and started the machine. Every detail was exactly as I remembered it.
Other people fly in their lucid dreams; I do laundry.
