#WritersCoffeeClub 2/8: Which words do you overuse?
Apparently I'm the only writer still referring to men as "fellow." As in, "One older fellow offered to help." I only used it twice, but that may be too much. (I'd love to know if anyone else uses "fellow"!)
"Nice" and "good" -- but I think I do a good (acceptable?) job eradicating them on revision.
"Wow" is another I have to limit. All my characters would say "Oh wow" at anything unexpected if I didn't rein that in. :)
