God only knows how I didn't realise this before, but eBay has job lots of old sewing equipment stashes for very little money, and I can just go on there and buy one.

Feeling burnt out, headachey and having had an episode of weird visual bullshit earlier today that made work a bit of a struggle, I've treated myself to the contents of (presumably) someone's late relative's sewing and crochet tin.
Very excited about this arriving.
