I think this note kind of misrepresents the relationship between #TypeScript and #JavaScript. I would've counted TypeScript as JavaScript if I were making this survey. It's not really a different language, but rather a language extension.

Using ESnext transpiled with Babel in 2015-2020 was still considered JavaScript. And it's not like people would say JSX is their primary programming language either.
