E-commerce is much harder to make profitable than most people think. It takes time, luck, and perseverance. Nothing you can do about the first two, so focus on the latter.
First two things to examine (but not necessarily change):
Marketing - Where/how are you promoting it? Are you advertising it?
Platform - Is Etsy the right place to sell your art? Own domain? Another platform?
