All true but have you considered that Americans don’t deserve freedom of speech and that Jews deserve to be protected? Think of how much work and money Jews have invested in getting organized. Even more importantly, think of the costs that individual Jews pay in order to benefit the group. Contrast with the ethos of American individualism, i.e. selfishness.
So it’s unseemly to besmirch the privileges they enjoy. Sure, policy may not reflect the interests of the majority but democracy was always a joke.
As for Elon Musk’s capitulation, it illustrates the naivete of these one-off brash, statements by celebrities. These lone wolves have no impact.
