Madame Decadent Sneezy-Bottom on Nostr: I'm looking in a desultory way at curtain fabric. So I'm on the John Lewis website ...
I'm looking in a desultory way at curtain fabric. So I'm on the John Lewis website and per metre it's £18, £25, £45.
Then on the Liberty's website it's £150, £230 . . .
Some people really have got money to burn, innit? I see the point of spending a fair bit on something you're going to be looking at for a decade or so, but that cost is JUST the fabric, before you even look at the cost of getting them made, and then poles, pelmets, tie-backs etc.
