Social Media Barons always insist they are not "publishing" anything and cannot be held responsible for what is on their platforms, no matter how libellous or harmful.

But as soon as they inject a process that in someway curates - selects or promotes some posts over others, the become a publisher. The algorithms do this. We need to stop pretending that these billionaires are innocent victims in this. Their algorithms publish hatred and harm.
