I noticed a world map in a Japanese company's office where they marked sales volumes with pins of different sizes. Interestingly, they had covered Russia with a piece of paper.

Of course, their products are still being sold in Russia somehow, but the level of self-censorship is astonishing.

This is influenced by Japanese nationalism and the fact that Japanese nationalists are incredibly dumb. Additionally, the American occupation and Russia's annexation of their islands also play a role, with the islands' return being impossible due to the continued American presence in Japan.
