I had no idea it was a sore spot for her. She is still 14 years old and just starting to figure out who she is. She isn't a selfish person, I just misinterpreted what she did.
I apologized quite a bit, and she really opened up to me about what is going on with her. But nothing makes me feel worse than making someone I love cry.
