One day, hopefully soon, someone will point out to Chris Philp that the example of Nauru of handling refugees is not the success story he thinks it is.
The disease, death and cruelty of that process of a very small number of refugees at huge cost that ended with the evacuation of those remaining.
Those refugees were coming from the same kind of places as they're now coming from to go to Europe across the Mediterranean. No deterrent.
