Fell over yesterday while trying to get back across a stream we have to cross to get to an apiary. What was an easy task 15 yrs ago is a major challenge now with the banks deeper and, more importantly, my knees far less useful. As I contemplated if I could step down where once I would have leapt across the whole bank I was standing on collapsed beneath me and I landed flat on my back. Today I am very stiff despite a very soft, wet and muddy landing.
