This is like the paradox of choice but for values and opinions. The more we listen to stuff, the more we either doubt and despair or ossify and not take in any new data.
Most good values are shared across all humans, and learned early on, but we are psyoped to doubt ourselves and others.
I would say the opposite. We’ve been listening too much. Listening to too much bullshit.
