2. Difficulty getting important documents (especially for citizenship by descent, if you qualify)
3. Criminal record (a naughty FBI report)
4. Acceptable proof of funds (you have the money but not in a liquid form required by a given citizenship program)
5. Getting an application submission appointment at a consulate (especially for citizenship by descent)
