I see artists with twice as many followers as you barely get the numbers you asked for on the animation... people just are that way, only a small number will boost/favorite, even less will comment.
I myself won't favorite everything an artist I follow posts, either... I follow an artist because I want to see their stuff, but not all of it is gonna be fav material.
