How accurate is judging a games success by how many reviews it has on steam? I see 3 categories of games
< 100 reviews: failed indie game. Usually single developer, hobbyist
~ 1000 reviews: indie with budget. Niche. Overlooked.
~ 100k reviews: AAA games exclusively
There seems to be a big jump between indie and AAA in number of reviews. But all evidence of this is anecdotal :)
