Commercial real estate will recover in 10~15 years anyway. Most places need to divert resources that were building commercial real estate to build domestic real estate anyway, so the people with actual jobs will be fine.
Oops, I was forgetting the second order jobs from people working in offices (cleaners mostly), that is an area that the 15 year set back will really hurt.
