That's tragic that the wealth and the well-being of entire nations are ruined because of ithe criminal and irresponsible conduct of their goverments.
Unfortunately, the two economies became doomed long ago.
Gazans were dependent on the Bank of Israel for their money, the Bank of Israel was diluting the wealth of Gazans every time it bought billions of USD from Israeli exporters for newly printed shekels.
The Hamas were squeezing all the juice out of them, routing all wealth to enrich their corrupt leaders and to fund the futile war on Israel on behalf of the Iranian Regime and the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Iranians were impoverished by the Islamic Regime of Iran, shackled to the Iranian rial (which devaluted) while
Iran spent billions on Hamas, Hizbullah,Huthis, Iraqi militias, stupid ballistic misile program that could never do any strategic damage to Israel and nukes program that is going to be destroyed soon.

Nobitex was another way to hold the money of the people within the regime's grip and to fund all the above.

Hamas and IRGC went to war on Israel many years ago and never stopped, knowing that they put in risk not only the wealth of their people, but also their lives and the lands they could save.

The Iranian regime is so corrupt, I bet they sold out Nobitex assets to the Predatory Sparrow when they realized where the conflict was going.
