If you didn't see the documentary on the kidnapping of Thomas Niedermayer earlier in the week I recommend watching it back. But be warned, it is a harrowing story, not just for the immediate impact of the events but for the generational trauma it caused which still impacts on the family today.
There was a chilling moment towards the end when they showed the 2008 funeral of the IRA Commander who ordered the kidnapping, and the camera focused in on the pallbearers.
