A major part of the housing crisis is the need for temporary accommodation for families who for whatever reason have become homeless.
But, it is also notable that last year while the number of families in this situation rose by 28% (to 56,000), the costs of housing them in temporary accommodation (B&Bs & shirt term private rentals) rose by 78% (to £732m);
there's money to be made in a crisis & its clear whose making it!
This is why we need more social housing!
