nostr clients can detect if an lnaddress supports this feature, if it does it can send a special zap request note that gets embedded into the invoice description. When the invoice is paid, the wallet service broadcasts to relays stored in this note.
nostr clients can verify these notes and display a tally (this is what my pr does)
I have lots of other code that implements the lnurl server and cln script that sends these notes which i will release with the spec as a reference implementation
