AI could prove its usefulness by auto-removing audience laughter from the last 30 years of sitcoms when I play them today.
I tried to watch a highly regarded comedy from the late 90s/early 00s and it was filled with so many laugh and applause breaks that I turned it off. It felt broad and insulting.
Let me enjoy comedy on its own merits of the material. Do your thing, AI.
