Yeah, some birds can be that way. If they were depressed they must have bad separation anxiety. My boy is like that, can't leave the room or he screams for me until I get back. It can be especially annoying if I'm in the kitchen trying to cook and he's just screaming like a dickhead. That's when he gets squirted with the spray bottle, so he will calm the fuck down. Works for maybe a few minutes before he's right back at it.
