Anyone have a good resource on quadrupole mass filter design? I've already found Ardara's Technical Notes.
I suspect mass filter design today is largely just 'twiddle things in a field simulation until you get the resolution you need' but I'd like something between that and, "You know the Mathieu functions, what else do you want?"
