When people get angry at those who call out injustice, it usually means they don't want things to change. It's not because they can't handle uncomfortable truths, or even that they're ignorant of the real issues. They know damn well that they benefit from the status quo, and they don't want that disrupted.
Racists get angry at black people for being aware of racism.
Misogynists get mad at women for being aware of misogyny.
Etc.
