The people who are criticizing both parties and our system are the *optimists*. The people who are trying to shut them down are the *fatalists* and *pessimists*.
The same is true of COVID educated people (optimists) who are still taking precautions vs. people who are just lettin' it rip (fatalists/pessimists).
When you believe everything is truly f**ked, you give up. When you think people are capable of doing better, you speak up.
