There’s a similar element of storytelling needed to capture the funders imagination as well as fit their criteria. They all have different specifications as to how to apply so I’m repackaging the same funding request for their needs. 9 times out of 10 I get a curt rejection. It’s bloody frustrating. I hope it’s hardening my heart if I do ever query my books.
