So, the alleged "assassin" was reportedly a 58 year old Republican with a history of violence, mental health issues, and arrests.
And in Florida, that guy could walk into any gun store and buy whatever he wanted. And then walk around with it, no permit, no training, no background check. I'm not even sure what he did could be considered illegal under state law -- though the Secret Service might have other ideas.
And Republicans want to turn America into Florida.
