Good news everyone! The matrix.lrn.fm server has been fully updated to the latest OS release and matrix synapse release. The admin got to updating things sooner than initially anticipated. We still haven't migrated to new hardware, but for the moment I think we are "good enough". This was a major undertaking due to various complications. Matrix "home servers" are NOT easy to maintain when you're dealing with a ton of people relying on your service. Thank you for your patience while we dealt with this issue.
