I am not a snowflake though. I used the term to refer to myself a lot when I lived in Central America for 3 years. It just grates on me that there isn’t mutual respect.
I could converse with you forever about this. I find it very fascinating to hear from people that value liberty and individualism like many US citizens do, but have a different background of education and culture.
The sticky thing I think Spanish culture left behind is the rampant corruption and a class based economy
