They’re advocating for further intensifying agriculture (through “lower-impact ways to boost yields”) and thereby freeing up blocks of land to use primarily for biodiversity conservation.
A shift away from livestock farming to growing appropriate plant crops would be a low impact way to boost food yield per hectare, although they don’t say that. Even then, would we use the rest of the land for nature? Tricky.
